Charlie is the founder of Events by Charlie, bringing over 30 years of experience across every corner of the events world. From children's birthday parties and intimate private celebrations to charity galas, corporate events, weddings, destination programmes, and large scale project management, there is very little Charlie hasn't planned, managed, or brought to life. With creativity, calm, and an unwavering eye for detail, she delivers events that feel effortless for her clients and unforgettable for their guests.
An event person, through and through.
It all started with a little bit of magic.. In my twenties, I launched a children's party business across Sussex and London. I taught myself magic tricks, learned to spin plates, and perfected the art of the balloon giraffe! It was creative, chaotic, and I absolutely loved it. That playful beginning sparked a passion that has shaped the last 30 years of my life. From those early parties, my career grew into something I never could have imagined. High profile corporate events, glamorous charity galas, destination celebrations, and weddings that still make me smile when I think about them. Hosting and organising has always been in my blood. As an army officer's wife, I planned countless dinners, balls, and fundraisers. During our final posting at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, I had the honour of hosting King Charles III and Queen Camilla on two separate occasions.

Today, backed by a Masters level distinction in Event Management, Marketing & Communications from the CIM, I bring 30 years of hands on experience, creative flair, and calm, meticulous planning to every event I take on. I am discreet, reliable, and completely dedicated to making your experience stress free from start to finish. No event is too big, too small, or too tricky. I will handle the spinning plates and sprinkle the magic. And who knows, I might even make you a balloon giraffe!
